2012 Masters in Trial Event at University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law
The Sacramento Valley Chapter of the American Board of
Trial Advocates held its annual Masters in Trial event at McGeorge School of Law
in Sacramento on Friday, November 30, 2012.
Dr. Klein and Dr. Younger were in attendance at this event which featured
a demonstration of an Expedited Jury Trial. From Voir Dire and opening
statements, through evidence, closing arguments and jury deliberations in a case
involving a slip and fall down an out of code stairway, they were able to
observe each phase of the trial. MRK
was delighted to sponsor this event, observe the trial and see real time jury
deliberations.

How the Process Works
The nature of the work is very detailed. The skilled staff at MRK Medical Consultants has built a reputation for maintaining comprehensive client files. A critical element of the client relationship is the initial client appointment and providing the appropriate documentation. Helpful steps to ensure success include:
Step 1
Call MRK Medical Consultants at (916) 863-7301 and request a printed biographical sketch (Curriculum Vitae) of a specific medical consultant as well as fee schedules and policies of the firm.
Step 2
Contact MRK Medical Consultants to schedule an appointment. Most appointments can be scheduled in advance of a pending deposition or trial date.
Step 3
The MRK staff will collect pertinent information via a telephone questionnaire. This information is used to initiate scheduling with the appropriate specialist.
Step 4
The MRK staff will request records, x-rays and other important information relative to the case. The medical consultant reviews the file in preparation for the evaluation.
