Since 1975, MRK Medical Consultants has been providing comprehensive analysis of personal injury cases for the legal profession and insurance industry.  Injury analysis is one of the most critical components in establishing the tone and direction of a personal injury legal case and quite often affects the case outcome. 

In January 2005, Dr. Younger assumed the role of Medical Director of MRK Medical Consultants.  In addition to currently overseeing a diverse, experienced team of over 30 expert medical legal consultants, Dr. Younger maintains an active orthopedic surgical practice and is a senior staff member at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California.  He has been performing medical evaluations since 2000.

In succeeding Dr. Michael Klein, Dr. Younger has integrated his clinical practice and medical legal consulting business into the MRK offices located at Carmichael, California.

While the leadership at MRK Medical Consultants has changed, the commitment to providing quality medical-legal evaluations and quality services to clients has not.  Since the establishment of MRK Medical Consultants, the number of medical consultants has expanded and the variety of medical specialties has broadened.  The firm will continue to grow in specialists and geographic coverage, while maintaining a reputation for providing objective and unbiased expert opinions.

MRK Medical Consultants provide a wide array of Medical Experts that offer objective review and analysis of personal injuries.  Each stage of the process – research to review – analysis to opinion, is addressed in a comprehensive manner in order to help legal and insurance professionals reach appropriate conclusions about their client’s situations. We pride ourselves in maintaining objectivity, and the MRK consultants provide opinions regarding the relationship between symptoms, findings and causation.  Upon request MRK consultants can also provide opinions regarding patient prognosis, need for proposed surgical procedures and future medical care.
