Affordable Care Act

Aetna, the third-largest health insurer in the US. said Tuesday that it is reconsidering its offerings on the states exchanges that make up the Affordable Care Act. Aetna will not expand its Obamacare offerings into the New Jersey and Indiana state exchanges in 2017 as they had originally planned. They are undertaking a complete evaluation of the business.  The company reports they expect an annual loss on the ACA business to exceed $300 million.  Last April, United Healthcare, the US' largest health insurer said it was abandoning the exchanges almost completely,
